About me
Eli Maga
I am a pastor and the son of missionaries. I was raised in the foundational principles of the Kingdom of God. From childhood, I was immersed in the world of missions, and this experience shaped my passion for serving others. I’m blessed to be married to Dan, and we have two wonderful daughters.

I currently serve as the president of “The Task,” an organization dedicated to partnering with local churches to reach unreached people groups. Our mission is clear: to glorify God by equipping churches to make disciples and plant new churches among all nations. You can learn more about our work by exploring any of our websites: A Tarefa or The Task. You can check our Doctrinal Statement here.

I hold a bachelor’s in Theology from the Baptist Theological College of Curitiba, Brazil; a Master of Theological Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary; and a Doctor of Theology from the South African Theological Seminary.

I have authored a few books in Portuguese, one in English, and a collection of theological articles, available here. I'll be glad to connect and partner with you to reach the unreached people groups in the world.
When JESUS preached his famous prophetic sermon, speaking of what would happen in the last days, He began by saying, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then the end shall come” (Mt. 24:14). More than two thousand years have passed, and still about 42% OF THE WORLD’s POPULATION has no access to the Gospel. Nearly seven thousand people groups are still
UNREACHED by the Gospel, without knowing that one day Jesus Christ, God incarnated, came and died on that cross to pay for their sins. The task that Jesus left for his Church to go into the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mk. 16:15), make disciples of all peoples (Mt. 28:19), and testify of his salvation to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8), has not been completely fulfilled yet.
THIS TASK IS UNFINISHED!
